Belfast OutEast is a new organisation founded to support, develop, and connect LGBT people in East Belfast and Castlereagh. Founded by Stephen Donnan, in August 2012, we will be promoting community events, local charities, and providing links to LGBT services in the area.

Stephen Donnan says

I founded the group to connect and promote the visibility of the LGBT community in East Belfast, so that we can support each other.

Support is key to our work. Support not just by LGBT people to each other but support from the wider community. In recent days we have received messages of support from a number of local political representatives as well as from other LGBT groups and organisations across the city. We look forward to working with them to support and promote the diversity of our local community.
